10.5" Plaster 1969 SCFC Warner Williams MARIA THERESA "I am the Mother to All.."

This is an amazing 10 1/2" Diameter plaster uniface wall plaque of the 1969 Societe Commemorative de Femmes Celebres Medal  for Maria Theresa designed by Culver Indiana star artist Warner Williams (1903-1982) produced by the Franklin Mint in sterling silver. It depicts the reverse of the finished medal with the crown of Austria Hungary and a quote attributed to Maria Theresa "I am the Mother to All of my People".
It appears to have been cast from the original galvano retained by Williams for the oversize model of the medal he designed. It has the stamp on reverse of Williams "Warner Williams, SC, Geodesic Dome Studio, Culver, Indiana 46511". According to a contemporary Coin Collector article there were 3,220 sterling medals made for the Societe's members. There were undoubtedly fewer plaster casts, if there was more than one. This example has been painted in matte grey to perhaps mimic the silver medal. There are some minor losses to the paint.
I also sold three other Warner Williams plaster wall plaques from medal galvanos, two for the 1966 Indianapolis 500 Speedway medal and one of the Indiana Sesquicentennial medal designed at the same time. There was an example of the Speedway plaster on eBay listed for 00.00 by another seller.

Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described as new, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item of given age.
