    Description

    In this particular auction, you will be bidding on an amazing collectible. A catalog (Catalogue) from Madame Tussaud's Exhibition, the cover price was sixpence. Full of detailed text and sweet advertisements, this is from a New England estate. It is stamped with the number 228748.
    40 pages in length and measuring 8.5 by 5.5 inches, the binding is fair and as expected, there is some dirt staining. Stored for many years and with the expected wear, this was the now abridged, owing to the War. Undated but it seems to be a rushed edition of 1919, published without a normal title page and completely re-written without illustrations, by the late George Augustus Sala. Containing 308 exhibits, this will complement any existing collection.
