This is an ORIGINAL item...Not a reproduction item! Postage information is listed at the bottom-Calculated shipping is required, which is exactly what the post office will charge me to send it.

Here's some history on the place:
Amishville USA was known for many years as the home place for much of the local Amish community. Many families were born and raised on the 120-acre farm. In the late 1960's the Amish family that resided on the farm decided to move out of state. The farm was then opened as an attraction to teach visitors about the Amish. The original home is still located on the property, but tours are no longer given.  The barn continues to be home to farm animals that you are welcome to enjoy as you walk through. In southern Adams County the Amish use open buggies all year around. A cover is considered an unnecessary luxury. These buggies can be seen travelling throughout the county to this day. At the same time the tours began, the Amishville campground was established in the woods and pastures on the property. In 1968 it offered only primitive camping. Through the years, this quiet, picturesque farm has been developed into a 267-site modern camping facility visited by thousands each year. In the early 1970's the Old Chicken House was remodeled and converted into a restaurant. Unfortunately this building is closed to the public at this time. The office and camp store are now located at the top of the hill!!

In other words, if you intend on using a 50+ year old letter opener and it breaks, don't get mad at us. It may be hard to believe, but we have received a couple negatives because people broke vintage items while trying to use them.
