DB9 Y splitter cable / cable saver - approximately 9 in in length
Allows original Colecovision controller with keypad and Atari compatible joysticks and game pads to work
simultaneously
Gives access to the keypad controls on the Colecovision controller while using more comfortable Atari compatible joysticks and controllers
Also save your retro consoles' and computers' DB9 controller ports from the constant insertion and removable of your game controllers
Insert it and forget - then insert your controllers into the Y-cable
Note:
Atari 2600 paddles and OEM / original 1 button Atari Joystick CAN be plugged in at the same time AND left in.
BUT - Sega Genesis controller or OEM Atari 7800 controller will disable paddle
functionality
if left in together
.
Be aware, may not work with a Sega Genesis Controllers when used on a Colecovision
(this is not a Y cable thing - the Genesis controllers I tested on my Colecovision did not work even when used without Y cable)

Note:
If you would like to use this Y cable on your Atari 2600 to keep the paddles and joystick plugged in simultaneously, you must use and original Atari 2600 joystick or one button compatible joystick only. If an original Atari 7800 joystick,  Sega Genesis control pad or RetroGamBoyz Atari 7800 control pad is plugged in with the paddle, the paddle will not work correctly.

If this Y cable is used in conjunction with a Colecovision and an Atari 7800 joystick or RetroGameBoyz ///dot ///com controller - the Atari 7800 (2) button action will work with Colecovision (2) button games. (requires original Colecovision keypad to start games)
