Description
Female RGB Euro SCART to 4 BNC + 3.5mm Stereo Audio Out JackAlso performs sync stripping using a LM1881M SYNC STRIPPER for use with professional broadcast monitors like that require it like certain Sony PVM/BVM, Ikegami, NEC XM29, etc
Converts composite video signal to a clean composite sync signal for wider compatibility, but w
ill also work on monitors that do not require composite sync.
Requires power from SCART pin 8
FOR USE WITH: Sega Genesis, Saturn, Super Nintendo, Neo Geo, Playstation, and other systems that output RGB via SCART
HOW TO CONNECT: Console --> SCART cable -->
THIS CABLE
--> RGB monitor
More Details:
This converter is made of a female SCART input which will take the signal from a game console cable or like, then output the RGB values to the BNC connections. At the same time it will convert/strip the sync signal using a LM1881M, and output sync to a BNC connection as well.
The length of the cables is 6 inches(about 150mm) off the board, and there is also a 3.5mm audio jack for you to output the audio. I'm not including an audio cable because some people have different audio preferences/inputs and the price reflects this. Searching for "3.5mm male to rca" will give you a lot of options. I personally use a high quality 3.5mm stereo audio cable and connect to
a custom PCB that goes in my
phoenix/euroblock connectors for use in the Extron Crosspoint. There are also audio pads on the bottom if you'd prefer to directly wire it to another output.
I made a number of these for use with my Extron Crosspoint input switcher, the ones up for sale are extras I had. Every single one has been tested with a basic Sega Saturn SCART output cable and a XM29+ to ensure they're working correctly and sync stripping. This is a hand made thing: built one at a time and tested one at a time so they will reflect it. If you contact me in advance
I can also include a premade 3.5mm cable to phoenix adapter for a small additional fee.
Combined shipping:
If you want to purchase more than 1 of these I can combine shipping as well to save on the overall cost.
PLEASE do your research to ensure compatibility before purchasing. If unsure, please contact me directly
If you experience a connection issue, please contact me and I will do my best to help you resolve it.
Note: I also have some basic SCART to BNC passthrough boards without sync strip which are useful like if your console to SCART cable already does sync stripping. If you are interested in those please feel free to contact me about them, they would be slightly cheaper.
