For your consideration is this WONDERFULLY INTERESTING vintage (perhaps antique) pamphlet or brochure advertising GLENBURN HYDROPATHIC  Rothesay, Bute. The 24 page pamphlet measures 3.75" X 6". It has photos of the interior and exterior of the establishment, information of the amenities, the steamers to get you to the Island of Bute, the climate, the baths and massages, the terms per week at different times of the year, the meal hours and the schedule of the days activities. The center fold photo (#6) is of the yachts in Rothesay Bay.
Not sure where we acquired this, if it was from my husbands family in Scotland or whether we purchased it here in America.There is no date printed anywhere on the brochure, but I am thinking in the early 1900s. This item certainly takes you back many years.
