Marantz 4230 (e) Multi Volt Quad Receiver (Very nice in working condition) (Unrestored)
In addition to the multi-voltage, this 4230 has Pre Out and Main In, The US version did not have this feature.
I don't think this (e) version comes up very often.
This is a late production model, notice the faceplate screws, the early units had the small Phillips head screws
The receiver is in very nice physical condition.
The front panel is nice, I did see some small scratches near the "Model" silkscreen.

for restoration
Some front panel lamps are out, I recommend new Leds. The plastic lamp housing is in very good condition (not melted)
It looks original inside, no prior repairs that I could see.
But
I didn't inspect
closely.
The receiver is working.  I would recommend a recap ASAP.
I did replace the faceplate, (Original was bent) that's when I noticed that I needed the larger mounting holes.  I just drilled the hole larger on another faceplate that I had available.
I replaced the original European power cord to a US style with ground
terminal and
set the internal voltage jumpers to 120V.
I have done no other work on the receiver.
I normally restore these receivers before selling, but I have over 50 receivers, and just need to reduce my inventory.
A good project for someone else.
Sold as is, needing to be restored.
I have shipped many of these receivers in the past, I have never had any shipping damage.
I use a double walled box, with a combination of rigid and spray foam to protect the receiver from damage.
