Mauchline Photographic Ware Photograph Album Dunkfeld from the Bridge & Murthley

I have the honor and privilege of selling the collection of an avid and discerning collector of Mauchline Ware consisting of transfer, checker, Parian, fern and tartan ware with a smattering of a few other finishes. I will be listing them in bite size batches over the next several months so that over time collectors can absorb the depth and breadth of the collection. This gentleman amassed an amazing collection of pieces, some of which I have never seen before and I have seen many collectors' collections over the years. This rather large photograph album has two photographs, one on each cover; Dunkeld from the Bridge and Murthley Castle.
It also declares that it is From the Athole Plantation, Dunkeld. Underneath that is an unattributed poem and underneath that
it
says Anderson Bookseller, Dunkeld. The album has gilded edges and a brass clasp but no old photographs and several of the
beginning
slide in pages are damaged.
The album
measures approximately 5.25" wide, 2 3/8" thick and 6.25" high when standing. The album is in overall poor condition, the leather binding is quite worn and tattered, there are several scratches and one of the
mother
of pearl buttons has fallen off. But PLEASE peruse the pictures to assess its condition for yourself.
