Mauchline Transfer Ware Hinged Keepsake Box Scene of Exeter Cathedral West Front

I have the honor and privilege of selling the collection of an avid and discerning collector of Mauchline Ware consisting of transfer, checker, Parian and tartan ware with a smattering of a few other finishes. I will be listing them in bite size batches over the next several months so that over time collectors can absorb the depth and breadth of the collection. This gentleman amassed an amazing collection of pieces, some of which I have never seen before and I have seen many collectors' collections over the years. This hinged trinket box has a wonderful very large and impressive transfer of Exeter Cathedral West Front.
Exeter Cathedral, properly known as the Cathedral Church of Saint Peter in Exeter, is an Anglican cathedral, and the seat of the Bishop of Exeter, in the city of Exeter, Devon, in South West England

The piece measures 1 5/8" tall,
3 3/8"
long and is 2.75" deep. It is in overall excellent condition with some slight small dings and a bit of wear to the transfer, but please look at the pictures to see the overall condition. White spots, if any, are camera glare.  Successful buyer is responsible for shipping and insurance and payment must be received within ten (10) business days of the close of the auction or the sale may be voided.
