Mauchline Transfer Ware Quaich Burns Cottage Made of Wood From The Land of Burns

I have the honor and privilege of selling the collection of an avid and discerning collector of Mauchline Ware consisting of transfer, checker, Parian and tartan ware with a smattering of a few other finishes. I will be listing them in bite size batches over the next several months so that over time collectors can absorb the depth and breadth of the collection. This gentleman amassed an amazing collection of pieces, some of which I have never seen before and I have seen many collectors' collections over the years. This traditional Scottish quaich, has a transfer scene of Burns Cottage. On the back side of the quaich is written Made of Wood From The Land of Burns.
This piece is in good overall condition. It has a stress fracture, shown in the photos, which does not show on the outside, which is a good thing, and there is a small, barely noticeable ding on the rim. Otherwise, I see no other flaws. N
onetheless, please peruse the photographs to assess the condition of the piece before bidding. It measures 4.25" in diameter, basically from handle to handle and it is 2.25" in height. White spots, if any, are camera glare.
