Mauchline Ware Large Hinged Box w/ 4 Hastings Transfers & Wildflower Decorations

I have the honor and privilege of selling the collection of an avid and discerning collector of Mauchline Ware consisting of transfer, checker, Parian, fern and tartan ware with a smattering of a few other finishes. I will be listing them in bite size batches over the next several months so that over time collectors can absorb the depth and breadth of the collection. This gentleman amassed an amazing collection of pieces, some of which I have never seen before and I have seen many collectors' collections over the years. This lovely large hinged box has four transfer scenes of Hastings, Hasting Castle, London Road, Hastings, Pier Hastings and Queens Hotel Hastings. In the background are lovely drawn wildflowers.
The box
measures approximately 6.75" wide or long, 5.25" wide and 2" high. The box is in overall excellent condition, the only flaw that I see is a slight blur on T in Hotel, but please peruse the pictures to assess it's condition. The underside has green Moroccan leather.
