Ornate Antique Souvenir Plate featuring both the French Lick Springs Hotel and the West Baden Springs Hotels. Stamped “Made in Germany” on the reverse. Very nice condition with there being no chips, no nicks or no scratches! The imprinted gold bands and decorative border are in incredible shape. Someone has taken very good care of this souvenir. It is fun to see the Dome of the West Baden Springs Hotel tinted blue on this plate. Never would have imagined that way.  Most certainly the German painter took some artistic liberties or had a black and white photo from which to paint.  This item is about eight inches in diameter. It is very pleasant to have the two grand old hotels depicted together at a time of their splendor!!!
