Once station has been selected, the light will slightly fluctuate based on the station's activity. (It will flash to mimic the incoming audio for a wonderful effect.) The 1950 electrolytic capacitor has been completely replaced and the new capacitor has been fully insulated from chassis. A brand new LED light kit has been installed for long life and long use, with a built-in rectifier.

    These rarely come up for sale as Sherwood did not make many and they always need to be restored for use, because they simply no longer function as intended. This unit has been f
    ully restored to working order with great care.
    The front light flashes upon detecting stereo signals, as you turn your FM dial, and brightens upon detecting clearer stereo signals. Once a station has been selected, the LED light will slightly fluctuate based on the station's activity. (
    It will flicker to mimic the incoming audio for a wonderful effect.
    )  The 1950 electrolytic capacitor has been completely replaced and the new capacitor has been fully insulated from chassis contact. The sensitivity potentiometer has been cleaned and pre-set to the most appropriate level for immediate use. The internal Sherwood vacuum tube from 1950 has been fully tested and is in good working order. A brand new warm-color LED light kit has been installed, replacing the old burned out bulb, for long life and long use. This special LED comes with a built-in rectifier.
    This Sherwood SL-1 comes with brand new RCA cables for connecting to your system.
