    Description

    An Art Deco Teapot of a Ocean Liner, a
    souvenir
    from the Worlds Fair Empire Exhibition held in Glasgow, Scotland c. 1938.  It is a 10" long model & made  from porcelain.
    Manufactured by Midwinter
    Porcelain
    , Burslem, England, marked on the bottom. The teapot was sold as a souvenir at the Exhibition. The Midwinter Porcelain company was one of the largest manufacturers in the 1930's & was in later years incorporated into the Wedgwood Company. The teapot has a crackled glaze, there are no cracks or chips, only the metallic finish on the top has a little wear. (See photo.) Near mint condition. A very rare item.
