Beautiful souvenir plate for Indianapolis, Indiana measures approximately 10.5 inches in diameter. The off-white plate features views in brown of some attractions of Indianapolis – the “Crossroads of America” including the Ayres’ Clock, Indianapolis Speedway, the Indiana World War Memorial, the Indiana State House, and more.  The edge around the plate rim is accented with a continuous border checkered flags and vintage race cars. The back of the plate is signed with description of the scenes on the front and “Made exclusively for L. S. AYRES AND COMPANY by Vernon Kilns U.S.A. This plate has some faint surface abrasions visible on the clock tower base in the light's glare, otherwise in very good pre-owned condition. I have an identical plate also listed in blue.
