    2. News of Yesteryear dated January 23, 1991. Measures about 6 " by 6". Photo of the West Baden Hotel taken in 1907.
    3. Even though the towers were the finishing touches to the initial phase of the restoration of the West Baden Springs Hotel, plenty of work remains to be done in the area around the famed resort. Measures about 6 1/2" by 6 1/2".
    4. The four towers laid in the former lower golf course at the West Baden Springs Hotel until the past Friday when one was lifted into place. Measures about 7" tall and 8 1/2" wide.
    5. Homestead Hotel named to Register by US Department of Interior/DNR. The town of West Baden Springs was recently notified by the U.S. Department of Interior that one of its few remaining original buildings, the Homestead Hotel, has been added to the National Register of Historic Places. Measures about 4 1/2" by 11".
    6. Wednesday October 14, 1998. Water sprays from the fountain in the garden as it did in the 1920's. Measures about 6 1/1" by 10".
    7. Back To Glory. Restoration celebrated by dignitaries, others at gala. Midweek feature by Robert Denbo. Overall size is about 8" by 10 1/2".
    8. The Four Tops. Wednesday October 28, 1998. The four towers are back on top of the West Baden Springs Hotel. Measures about 8" by 10"

    To Theodore (Doc) Jones, who planted the palms in the atrium and loved the great building for all of his 90 years.
    And from page 24:
    The gardens around the buildings we meticulously kept as ever because of the benign influence of Theodore "Doc" Jones, who had been in charge of the hotel gardens since 1908 and who was retained by the Jesuits. He retired in 1966 and celebrated his 90th birthday in 1974.
    Students, lay brothers, and faculty members left with heavy hearts. The great old building had become their home. After the last Jesuit had departed, one familiar figure remained-the faithful "Doc" Jones who now served as caretaker.
